Class Description

Join us as we prepare a traditional Cantonese dish of steamed fish infused with the wonderful flavors of fermented black beans, ginger, garlic and scallions. This versatile umami-packed sauce which we'll be preparing pairs perfectly with salmon, but could also be used with other proteins and vegetables. Plus, we'll be making an egg fried so flavorful you could make a meal out of it by itself. Returning guest chef is David Lynn Drzick, who in addition to being webmaster behind Pacific Rim Foods and Cravings, is also the owner of Ruby 'Que Catering and 3rd Place Winner of the Confucius Institute Master Chef Competition. He has travelled to China several times and is always pursuing authentic dishes for his family or social gatherings.
