Class Description
Pacific Rim Foods is excited to welcome special guest chef Kung to our classroom for a deep dive into authentic Thai cuisine. His first class will feature panang pork curry, one of the most popular Thai dishes around the globe, as well as yam kai dao, a spicy salad of crispy, runny fried eggs with fresh herbs, aromatics, and a sour-spicy dressing. Guest Chef Kung Chiambunsri is a seasoned hospitality professional with over two decades of experience, having successfully managed his own bars and restaurants in Mae Sot, Thailand. Kung is excited to bring his wealth of culinary knowledge to the community by sharing some home recipes and offering a taste of authentic home-style Thai food. Cooking is one of his great passions and he especially loves sharing the diverse world of Thai cuisine with others. He enjoys explaining the intricate interplay of sweetness, savory richness, and bold spices inherent in Thai dishes, while encouraging people to tailor each dish to their personal preferences.
